Message from Victor Loewenstein, President of AAI

Dear AIESEC alumni,

AAI is in a phase of transformation so as to better serve the interests of our worldwide alumni community. With this in mind, AIESEC Alumni International and AIESEC International have joined forces to sponsor AIESEC Alumni of the World Unite.  Our aim here is to unleash the Association’s potential and allow AIESEC alumni to work in unison to play the leadership and influencing role we deserve.  This is why I encourage all alumni to get involved in our work — old and young, and from all continents, races and cultures — in the true AIESEC spirit to which we are all so closely bonded.

We will discuss  recommendations and proposals from this collective effort at the Hungarian AAIMeeting (AAIM) during February 6 – 19, 2012.   AAI  will hold a General Assembly at that time during which we will decide our future strategy and implementation tactics and elect a new Executive Board to take forward the inputs generated in this project.  The event will run in parallel with AIESEC’s International Presidents’ Meeting in order to provide alumni with multiple interface occasions with current AIESEC leaders. In short, there will be many opportunities in Hungary to bond, work, learn and have fun!
